Adults in the U.S spend 9-10 ours each day sitting

I drive a bus (mid to long distance), have done for the last 30 Years ..
I sit a lot
can't stand for too long either !

Read somewhere that sitting is worse for your back that about anything else, especially for extended periods.

^^^ I can vouch for that! I crushed L2 vertebrae some 15yrs ago... generally it is Ok now, but if I have a long day at the desk then I will cop it that night... I try and get up and move about at least every 30min or so when I am at work and walk the dog at night... then it's all good.

I took a desk job for a bit
Would set the timer for 45min then go for a 15min walk round the plant
That 15 min turned into 30 min. Wasn't long before i was walking for 45 min and working for 15.
So i took a role back out on site.
I hate sitting down for too long. .. Can't remember the last time i could sit through a whole movie
