I am having a robust discussion with a total fool at Stanley Tools "support" about repeated failures of Surform blades. (pretty clear he does not know the product but he is just the email support guy)
I'll leave outt he warranty backstory of the last 12mths but in short I noticed a great decline in strength, some snap just when being installed.
Anyone had issues?

All tooling has now been passed over to the tidly winks, iconic brands that delivered quality and built a reputation are now deemed crap
As in tech I tend to contact overseas /uk we struggle here with tech support from experts, I used to use a lot of sika products and struggled to get correct applications on products until I talked to the UK support team, unsure why

order the microblade version from carbatec. might be better. they are in Balcatta but should do post no worries.
you might have to modify your stanley surform to fit well.

As much as we love the green shed, it's hard to find good old fashioned quality hand tools anymore.

There's 96 total tools stores now & as they went from a couple of stores to 14 in Sydney in the last couple of years & seems to me they open very close to Bunnings and those Bunnings stores reduce there tool selection that eventually there will be a total tools wherever there is a Bunnings.
