Do you have a lock on your screen.
eg:- do you need a password to get into it?

Try a different set of headphones - when the cables get dodgy strange things happen (including music player start / stop)

yep I did no luck! Also called Samsung support they told me to clear the cache of the player .... did not work. All the could come with was to return the phone to factory settings!

Its the Operating System (OS) felix

Google sent out an update of it in the last month or so
and if you did the up date from Kitkat to lollipop...
it will for starters slow your OS down
and there are all sorts of glitches with it

The history of OS systems

<div class="div-col columns column-width">Cupcake (1.5)
Donut (1.6)
Eclair (2.0–2.1)
Froyo (2.2–2.2.3)
Gingerbread (2.3–2.3.7)
Honeycomb (3.0–3.2.6)
Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0–4.0.4)
Jelly Bean (4.1–4.3.1)
KitKat (4.4–4.4.4, 4.4W–4.4W.2)
Lollipop (5.0–5.1.1)

When searching for your specific problem on google
its a good idea to know what OS
you are running...

If you are not sure how to do this go into
settings
about device
and look at the OS your are running
it will probably be 5.0.1 (lollipop)
or 4.4 (kitkat)

For worse battery life & no water resistance? Had S3, S4 & S5 wont be going S6. It's good not having to worry about spray when take it out on kayak or boat.

It hasnt notified of OS upgrade available, good to know not to, have always been a bit hesitant with that when S3 had stability problems after an upgrade but they did fix that after a month.
