The forecast swell on Friday looks a bit too west for me. 
And we have no way of checking on Friday what did happen.

The Sydney Waverider buoy has been damaged or has gone adrift.
A replacement buoy will be deployed as soon as possible.
The Port Kembla Waverider buoy is experiencing telemetry problems that will be rectified as soon as possible.
