I think we need to put the lizard and the space snail in the ring see who comes out alive. My moneys on the space snail.
Also im a wood butcher. If i drove my nails all the way in i wouldnt be able to pull them out once the concrete had cured.
Thats a regal looking specimen of a lizard there
we used to have heaps of different lizards in Perth on the coast.
Went to duranbah and snapper last year and at d bah on top of the hill on the grass area near the lookout where hundreds of people sit and eat lunch everyday there was half a dozen hanging out..
The ones we used to get a lot of in Perth are like giant skinks, when I was a kid there were heaps and heaps of them from watermans to trigg island in the rocks and caves nowadays you never see them...
havent actually seen one for a year or two which is quite disappointing there is a dog beach half way between and I reckon people's dogs and stray cats have pretty much depleted them, any left are smart enough to hide
Have encountered them creekside from 10 to 120 cm long when I was trout fishing in Kanagra-Boyd NP, S of Oberon, and many sunning themselves on riverside lawns on the upper Hawkesbury River and Woronora River.
