I known this is water sports forum, But i also know a lot of people on this forum ride road bikes.
I am looking at getting a bike for group rides and crit. It must have Di2. I currently have a Trek speed concept with Di2 which is not ideal for either.
What bike would you get?

Yes would have to admit a Duc would be awesome, had a Gsxr1000r for years but wanted to keep my license so traded it for a m109.
But asking for the pedal variety.

I've ridden bikes from 6 years old . Dirt bikes to road bikes to dragging money pit Harley's. Got scared and gave them up . I'm glad I'd survived it . Only one head on
A good mate has a 440 two stroke older KTM that just has to be converted to a motard . If he doesn't , I will.
That would have to be the most impractible fun on wheels . Way too much power that blows smoke and goes rang dang dang.

Cannondale caad10 with ultegra is a great crit bike, your gonna crash so cheap is good But still good enough for any group ride.

if you wanted something special then get a Lynskey TI Custom or helix Pro with group set of you choice.

if you wanted something to pose with then there's loads of over priced under performing carbon frames out Tthere from cervelo/trek etc

if you wanted carbon them go for a Time scylon or Look 795 bit I would be scared in a crit. For $2000 the Cannondale really is all you need.

No grade yet, have been training on my speed concept for Iron Man Busselton which is now cancelled. Want ride to be a little bit more social for a while, with the ability to do crit. Budget is good at the moment that is why i am looking now. I am riding Di2 now and dont think i would like to go back to mecanical. Am currently looking at a modone slr7, but would like other opinions.

Irritated by other road users?

Each time you see behaviour that makes you irritated, angry even, go to the cop shop and tell them what happened... something like "I was driving on mi road, I was slowed for like 10 seconds by a person on a bike with a dildo for a saddle and I gets rrrreeeaaaallll angry at them". Maybe chuck at least two squarey words between each word in the sentence as well.

If we all work together reporting such behaviour, the road will soon be much better for everyone
