R the Russian's as effective at political meddling?

I listening to the ABC podcasts called "Russia if you are listening" Covering 6-8 years leading upto and post USA elections..

From those I formed an opinion that Putin was most likely out to enjoy payback on Hillary Clinton more than wanting to put Trump in power - same outcome.. Termed Mr 50% = one way to become the richest man in the world...

I would prefer to vote for a political party which stopped making billionaires overseas funded by the exports of Australia's natural resources and follow the Norwegian (= Norway's) example...

If we are that big in the gas export market then cheap local supplies and this style of approach...
