Unfortunately up here in Townsville, we have two choices (well at least we have a choice!), go with Origin or Ergonenergy for our electricity.
Has anyone had experience with one or the other and your preference? I am currently with Ergon, and they are a rip off to say the least (compared with Powercor back in Victoria).
We have no choice up here really, and "green alternative" solutions are still stuck inside southern cities with Smart Meters.
See if click energy is available there. They are cheapest by far due to online only and reading you meter twice a year only. Downside is wildly fluctuating power bills (their guessing algorithm isn't great), but they come monthly so the big ones aren't too big at least.
