There is so much confusion and misunderstanding on this forum that comes from misinterpreted sarcasm. The use of inverted parenthesis could put an end to that.

Pugs. That was invented back in 2013 or earlier. It never came in, either because it's hugely impractical or not easily discernable.
I think upside down quotation marks make the perfect sarcasm marks.
