Hi guys,

Just had an 18th birthday party at our house, and hired a mobile wood-fire pizza oven guy to cater. I'd never heard of it before, but my daughter stumbled upon it googling for party food ideas.

They made all you can eat pizzas for 2 hours, including desert pizzas with Nutella and strawberries, and caramel and bananas with cream at the end. The quality was top notch, and everyone was so full that no-one touched the birthday cake at the end of the night.

Just before he packed up, he said "I'll make you a couple of extras to keep for the weekend." A couple? We now have TWENTY THREE large pizzas in the fridge!! If you're passing by, drop in and I'll give you a couple.

Regards,
Harrow.

What an amazing idea... could we ask what $$$ you paid and how many he either catered for or made in total?

It was $20/head, all you can eat, minimum 30 people. (Extra if you wanted seafood pizzas included in the mix). He arrived 2 hours early to start the fire and get the oven warmed up.

Once he started cooking, there was a buffet style table of 10 fresh cooked pizzas to choose from, and he just kept replacing them as fast as we could eat them. We eventually slowed down, he didn't.

That pizza plan sounds awesome.

One of the best we ever did was getting the Hare Krishnas in.

Full market style hare vego feast for about $8 a head, inc dessert.

Then we did a whole rib sliced thin on the BBQ for anyone that wanted meat too.

Under $10 a head, everyone had 2nds and we had leftovers for a week.
