With the dollar dropping and yearly price increases it will soon be single figures.![]()
I would guess more than 2k I would say more towards 5k, if you would expect to have at least 1000 in each major capital plus coastal towns and then the smaller cities. Dosnt seem like many people
How many kiters in Australia.
My guess is approximately 2000.
Any thoughts?
Never done a city's downwinder in a 30knt sea breeze?![]()
There would have to be more than that, just thinking about WA coastal spots, my rough guess is on a good afternoon there would be 150 in Perth, 20 in Lano, 10 in Margs, 20 in Gero. That is just my guess for main ocean spots, actual numbers on water (so 1/3 didn't get out due to wedding / funeral / other family crap / sh!tty missus / work blah blah.) Then not counting beginners or many very infrequent ones.
Hmmm maybe 1000 in WA?

Yeah agreed. 1000 at least in our state. Nationwide there would have to be 10,000? Possibly more?
How many entries to the L2L did they get? 100 spots, I think they got 200 entries the year I got a spot and I thought that increased to 300 the following year?

Agree that it is great to have a kitting spot to your self, however the more kiters there are the more interest in the sport and the further the sport develops.
