Hey all.

I've been offered a garage find epoxy nippers board for next to nothing.

I dont have high expectations but getting one for my kids to train on would be nice.

How can I check it to see if it's water tight and any tips to tell if it's a viable option to put time into?

Cheers!

Leave it in the sun and see if it blows bubbles. Weigh it, make sure it's not too heavy.
How good does it need to be? As long as there aren't any sharp bits of fibreglass sticking up for them to cut themselves on. They can learn the basics, no matter how much water is in there it won't sink on them.

As Decrepit says.....

Doesn't have to be the perfectist or shiniest nipper board.

Get it, see if they like it, maybe get a better one next year if you and the kids want.

The board has a few dings to repair like this, This isn't deep, just the paint has been knocked off.

What should I use to repair, epoxy or fiberglass?

Cheers
