Just watch Given on Netflix. It's a doco about a family who travel for a year looking for surf. Really enjoyed it!

TV Shows - Animal Kingdom is good.

On Stan - Billions is good.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Don't think it's on Netflix or Stan but Taboo is well worth a watch

Just finished the last season on House of Cards - still tense and very well written but getting towards it's natural end.. ultimately I think they've been out trumped by trump. Reality is stranger than fiction at the moment.

I thought Animal Kingdom was ok, but I wouldn't rush to watch the next season. I liked the disturbed bro and the power dynamic with the mother and how she kept control. But it was a bit over the top, like a bunch of american uni students voted on what the coolest guys would be, what the coolest party would look like, what the coolest guys in the world man would do in their time off, and it's all just trying way too hard to make up for a poor script. Maybe I'm just too old, not the target market.

There's a new season of Bloodline out - much better show IMHO. Ben Mendelssohn steals the show even when he's dead. Well worth watching. Even a bit of kiting in the background sometimes as it's set more or less in Islamorada.

Something different I watched a korean zombie movie recently, Train to Busan. Would recommend, minimal boring bits, minimal subtitles, good fast zombies..

-Fargo all seasons
-true detective season 1 especially
- the fall
-Longmire
-Outlander is popular
-making a murderer
-we like the most of the British and euro crime series wallander, Shetland, lava fields etc
A lot of the Netflix produced shows 'borrow' themes from other series
-bloodline (beware) I wanted to like but it was a slow burn, ruined with the final episodes

Better Call Saul

Especially if you've watched all of Breaking Bad. Bryan Cranston's book is a good read too.

If anyone is a fan of the John Wick movies, there are plans afoot to run a TV series as a Prequel to the movies called "The Continental" after the underworld hotel in the movies.

Watching Fargo at the moment, really enjoying it.
Started watching a French series (forgotten name) about their secret service in the 1960's, subtitles and pretty funny.
Will get back to it after Fargo.

End of season I believe, 10 episodes already.

Was a late adopter of Breaking Bad, watched all seasons over a few week period then straight into Saul. Have really bad withdrawals now. Great to watch the Breaking Bad characters evolve in Saul. Boston pie sitting who would have thought...

I watched 2 seasons of Fargo on the internet last year.
Enjoyed the first one and the second one was a time waster.

Dedicated Survivor
Black List
Orphan Black - first few seasons were good. I thought that they were milking it a little as the seasons went on.

Yeah I quite liked Orphan Black at first but like most series it started to drag on a bit after a while.

Talking about Black that reminds me has anyone watched Black Mirror that had some good episodes.

Watched most of the first two seasons of Black mirror on DVD (the DVD didn't have complete seasons for some bizarre reason).
Great viewing, great concepts, each episode is a stand alone story holding a mirror up to modern society.

Ep 1 season 1 would kill it for a lot of viewers

Sorry I have no idea whats on sh1tflix, stun or whatever, just a rather extensive DVD collection which I can watch at any time.
