Yup, 'tis the season for delicious folk like me to be eaten alive. Of course the 'net confuzzles with "reviews", so I'm keen to hear about your best finds.

Go!

Last week I told my kids I don't want anything for Christmas. Just changed my mind.

That's a reminder. It's a wet year here in Adelaide, and I'm getting eaten myself when coming home and washing my gear at night. I might pull out my bug zapper and start using it again (I forgot I owned one ).

Just go to Bunnings. The UV lamp with a electrified cage around the lamp. I paid about $60 for mine 4 years ago. There are different sizes. They are also good during the flying ant nights.

I appreciate that they sell them at Buggings. It's just that they sell all kinds of stuff, effective or not. So long as the cash register rings. I'd like to buy well once. I have an old zapper, which still attracts but no longer zaps. and as such, I'm a smorgasbord.

The trick is to have them upwind and not too close.

If you like manually harvesting mozzies can't go wrong with "The Executioner Pro" (very satisfying)

I hate Bunnies too. The Mark Zuyuckerberg of the handy man world. There's a good youtube by Ronnie Johns impersonating Chopper Read about ****ing Bunnings

The reason Bunnings exists is because people want cheap .
" Im going to Bunnings cos it's cheaper " , says everyone .
I do 90% of my hardware shopping there . The last 10% I pay dearly for.
Its like going to the $2 shop and then complaining about the quality .
Dont go hating Bunnings . There are more expensive options if you need it .
If you look hard enough there is probably a Swiss made bug zapper for $400.
Id go the 60 buck one at Bunnings.

Has anyone tried Ambush Mosquito traps: www.ambushmosquitotraps.com.au/

The reviews I've read seem to say that it's a little temperamental to set up, but once you get it working it's awesome. Anyone have any experience with this?
