Gday all. Am currently looking at buying a cheap dual cab ute because i need 4 seats. Im not looking for comfort or style as its only a work truck and only intend on keeping it for 1 or 2 years.
Was wondering if any of you lads have any experince with these utes. A few people have told me they are sh!t, but who knows.

Purchased mine from new and it's still going strong. I can recommend putting a larger exhaust on it to get better mileage and power. 2.5 is perfect. Really good rust proofing on them too except the running board mounts.
The suspension is a bit stiff and works better with a bit of weight in the back. The clear coat is crap , like all the cars from that era. In all it's been a great purchase.

Pull the intake hose off and check inside the manifold for carbon build up. Dead common on 2.5 and 3.2s
