Thats not even the tip of the iceberg.
Thats the cloud above the iceberg
If he feels like that Imagine how he would feel if he had of been there for the kids ,
Then lost house the , right to see kids , job through stress etc
I know a bloke his last parent passed away he got a tidy sun two days later he is chucked out of house with avo .
She gets the lot .
All I can say if you have children get a pre spousal arraignment so any money that can be left will not go to the spouse in a divorce only to your kids or your grandkids .
Its a sad fact of life that but that stops a few divorces .
And even if there is still a divorce at least your kids will have something because Im sure you haven't worked so your kids partner gets everything leaving them destitute in the cases of your sons .

Yep and then add the cases where both parties actually are mature nice people and make a private arrangement that dad will pay all kids costs and give mum say $200 a week or whatever figure they agree upon.
The CSA can still over rule that, assess him and force him to pay more.
Add to it the sexist assertions that kids always stay with mum unless dad can prove she is the worth mother in australia (needing a good lawyer and tons of actions in court) it is a terrible system that drives blokes over the edge.
It is so wrong but all we hear about is blokes are all pricks due to domestic violence stats and ads that show if a bloke yells he is a dangerous offender.

There was a famous ice hockey star in Russia. He went to a club in Moscow. Got a blow job from a babe. Normal.

She got pregnant. He pays child support, and I can't imagine how much that is worth.

(Yes. Really. A blow job and pregnant. Think about it. ...yep)

The story doesn't ring true either. I have suspicions about its provenance.

I was talking to a young apprentice only two days ago and he often loves to boast to people about his weekend exploits. Anyway i asked him about kids and getting a girl pregnant. He had zero idea he would be responsible for anything if she fell pregnant, let alone that he would pay for that child for the rest of its life. I was stunned and he may be just one of super dumb, but it may be worth sharing with young males..

Im in mining I have been through it and so has at least half of the people over 40 around me nearly all of them pay 100% care even though they have kids if there own or have remarried.
the reason they do is so when their roster changes they don't get oh it's not your weekend or day etc etc.
this is crippling men and before anyone chimes in with deadbeat dad comments, many of these women look at this as a career the outcome is preordained however only they are aware of it as from the moment they meet its all a big milk the cow plan.
they get a child which they want they slap a vro on the man and don't have to prove it than 25% of his pay for 18 years.
i have a long personal story which would blow people's minds but I won't go into on a public forum.
im 22 dating a girl who is my age and says, I cannot get pregnant its medically impossible
long and short I pay more a month in child support than on my mortgage.
i wish I had been able to put that money into an account for my child as they would have in excess of 250000 (after tax)and I'm only half way through it.......
best thing I ever did was to have my eldest but I got played hard lost everything and there is no financial security for them even when they hit 18 cause the money is gone on dresses and make up and their mums new phone drinking I pad holiday etc etc.....
they could have a house half paid off, yet I still got 25 years of a loan left......and my eldest has 0 in the bank.....
paycheck and sperm donor is how I'm viewed by the mum.....

but the eldest thinks I'm a good man and they love me and I love them and we hang out play music collect shells and go surfing and down south up north...

in the words of the Beatles love is all you need.

I'm hearin' ya Razz, in stereo. Keep on keepin' in touch with the youngn's as it will be worth way more than $$ when the big wheel turns round, and all 'Mum' is left with is a lonely bedsit and saggy chest.

Read like a massive whinge to me from an entitled little snowflake.

"ooooh I might even have PTSD from ... having a root and getting her knocked up" yeah ok mate.

He made a life-changing mistake not taking precautions.

He's built it up into a massive sob story, where paying child support is to blame for his failure at holding a job, failure at a relationship, failure at life in general.

There's not a word of her story. There's not a word about the kid, which is what his money is actually for, to give the kid the necessities of a decent life.

Reading between the lines, there's no way he's paying what he's meant to anyway. Even if he was, a well looked after kid costs way more than his contribution. She's not making a profit out of the deal.

If he's paying his end, he's entitled to a relationship with his child and should have one for his sake and the child's sake (although from the story he sounds like a pretty poor father/role model anyway).

That's as far as the legitimacy of his sob story goes. The rest is a pathetic whinge.

Pretty much agree with you. Assuming this is actually a real story.. and not just more subversive propaganda that is so common in the media.
