Just reading the thread on rope and tie down laws, been fitting out a VZ wagon with my kit and wondering what regulations/ laws apply to restraining loads within a vehicle. The laws probably vary from state to state but I've heard stories here in SA of people being booked for having shopping sitting on passenger seats.
Has anyone had any experience with the law and restraining loads within a vehicle or able to tell me where I can get some relevant information ?
Not the best of photos but so far I'm pretty happy with the way its coming together.

Just look up your state transport authority, the mob ya got your licence from. Your main thing in that situatuon is if the cargo and passenger section are properly seperated. Looks like you have thought about load moving side to side.

Each vehicle has a tare and gvm figure. Fair chance you're over it, as most of us are when we load up our cars.
