So the nits are back in town !

Jeez they're pesky little critters. 2 girls with thick hair unlike their Dad.

How the hell do you get rid of them?

Many nights of conditioner, treatments, tiny combs, tears, Still got them FFS !!!

Give it time, eucy oil in the conditioner, fine comb many times, and 3 kids under 12 all with nits, takes a while but we don't have any more now. It'll pass, it's annoying, but now at 13-17 all free for years!

Short hair and kerosene works.

Ascaboil works too but I warn against using it if the nits migrate south which they are known to do . Ascaboil is the hottest cold you could ever experience.

You got 2 wash all pillow slips & bedding & hat's etc .
Its no good just treating the hair .
There will be eggs on all that to start it all off again.

the kids, or the nits?

My cousins found out the hard way that it isn't a good idea to tell their beloved Dad about their nits - he chucked them in the sheep dip.

Tasted like crap [probably all the sheep poo in the channel the sheep were pushed through] but worked a treat.

After reading the labels on the 4 in 1 sheep dip 44 gallon drums on the farm, I am surprised anything survived the stuff.

They're a scourge. They don't like oily hair and they don't like hair spray. Our method for the daughter was nit treatment, comb out eggs and repeat this every few days till they're nuked. Then tie hair back and hair spray for school every day.

Do not allow your kids to try on other kid's hats, hooded sweatshirts, or hooded jackets!

and apparently, kids taking selfies with their friends are great for spreading nits too.
