Do you play an instrument Cisco?
Just you seem to really really like your music and sometimes listening will never get you that fix.

The only instrument I play is the symphony in my head, but I am pretty handy with a spanner. ![]()
I have listened to Jimi play "Star Spangled Banner" so many times that I can play that in my head pretty good.
Man that white dude on the congos was off his chops ![]()
Aha!! So you have watched it. Your mind has now been altered. ![]()
One of the Youtube commenters said the same as you about the congo man.
Well that was quick, I must have just missed it, it's been pulled. ![]()
Don't you just hate that. Legendary stuff like that I believe belongs in the public domain. ![]()

With all respect to the legends like Jimmy, SRV etc.. I can only listen to their 2 (3 max )tracks in the row before it gets very boring.
But i can enjoy my own playing(mostly covering the legends stuff) for hours, even though i am suck, i know.
Take up guitar Cisco, its so easy these days with 100s free youtube lessons and backing tracks and tabs available.
Its fun
Yeah it's well worth a listen.
I didn't red thumb you but I don't love the seppo anthem.
Thanks for the post kiteboy.
Jimi had been a member of the 101st Airbourne and was a true American patriot. His rendition of Star Spangled banner on that occasion highlighted the illness pervading the American psyche of the time and comes across to me as a sad plea for people to get back to the root values of what it means to be an American.
That may be a bit deep for some but that is what his music communicated to me.
Used to have it on VHS , was an interesting education for a young kid...
I still have it on VHS that I recorded from an SBS broadcast years ago. I no longer have a VHS player though. One of these days I might digitize it.

Yeah I thought that too and I've got nice big cans on my pc. Live recordings are hard to get right tho so it might have been unintentional.. or he might just have been deemed "good for the visuals only"
. You can hear the 2nd guitarist on some tracks, even playing lead (other lead?) at times.
