Is it just me, or does anyone else see potential trolling or phishing?

If I go camping I often catch fish to eat, but if no luck I resort to SPAM for dinner

Of coarse you can ask the question.. If you get appropriate answers on the other hand.....

If you are newbie angler, then yes. Windsurfing spots are usually the best to run your lines. Even if there no fish there, always a chance to catch something. If you have a boat by any chance you should always anchor in the middle of the fastest run.

I just see that there is basically a discussion of boats and hikes. Specifically, fishing is not found sorry for the topic. Therefore, I clarified that would not clutter up your forum.

Did someone use a fishfinder? Can u tell how it works?

Yep. I use a Red Handled Trolley. I aim it at the freezer section and I always score enough to feed the family.

There are plenty of seas the Moon,Not sure if any fishes too.

Mare Nubium nice place! I was there.

The guys who respond without sarcasm. Please, tell us the essence and principle of the work of the fishfinder in practice. In the Internet a lot of articles where everything is so interestingly painted and shown, but for some reason I distrust this technique.

Come on Mr Kanas, surely by now and you have realised that this is not a fishing site but mainly surfers and kiters (two different species) and all round piss takers, flat earthers and political mumphs. Ive seen worse treatment so you have done well. Do you surf? If so well thats all right then.

If windsurfers know anything about fish at all - it must be:
Jellyfish - that you cut smoothly with your fin
Turtle - that you hit hard
Dolphin and whale just a harmless scenery that accompanies you but not interacts or intervene.

OK I will be sensible now.

You did ask if you could ask a fishing question, and this place used to have a fishing forum, so I thought yeah OK - legit.

But then a pic that looks like North American lake, but profile says Vic, had me sus.

Then a poorly phrased question (no insult BTW, just that its maybe another thing that's inconsistent with Victoria in your profile) "Did someone use a fishfinder? Can u tell how it works?"

Are you asking if fishfinders actually work? Or how they work?

Why would you not use a fishing forum, or an engineering clever people forum, respectively?
The first will tell you if they are reliable and useful, the second will tell you all about how they work.

But asking on a watersports site will get you pisstakes for fairly obvious reasons.....

sorry, I forgot about dungeons.
But you don't need fishfinder. Dugong will find you and eat the Sh***t of you. They are bloodthirsty sea monsters like no others.
Here is one eating the whole turtle on the breakfast

As to fishfinder, I think I have an idea of how it works. Once you have your fish of the water. Apply this device.
instead of tape measure have a retractable antenna.
In a second or two this smart device will tell you if you fish you did catch is:
small,
medium
or big
You don't need an expensive tape measure to find out how big is your fish!

But some warning is needed. Some people like a Kiteboy may use this device incorrectly.
He uses this antenna to measure p**s .. to find out it qualify as small, medium or ... very small ( there is not the third option for Kiteboy here)

You might want to try that site, "plenty of fish", or something. Or so I'm told.

Thank you for your attention and adequacy! I plan to hunt medium and large, I will fish in an open reservoir (not rivers and lakes, although only in very large ones).

I asked if I could ask about fishing before writing a new message. Why so much sarcasm in my address? I heard the answer that I can. I do not want to make your forum dedicated to fishing. I like golf. So on the forum dedicated to golf, friends answered me at least at their level of knowledge. Why do you meet a newbie as if you are in a circus? This humor and sarcasm are not appropriate. I understand that there are a lot of trolls on the Internet, but judging by what I saw here, inadequacy in society. I created a theme here because I like windsurfing too, and in the future, I planned to expand my interests. I also used fishing forums, do not worry. I just wanted to make friends with the community here first.

And one more...nice turtle.

I know, right?!
I do like to measure but as usual, you talk a big game and under deliver. Your measurement definitely confirmed there was no third option there for me.

I think you just lost us when you replied to the nonsensical post from Macro, and ignored my questions.

How is the open reservoir fishing in Victoria BTW?
