Couldn't see one of those 'introduce yourself' threads so this general chat forum seems a good place to start. I've decided to take up sailing so I'd like to talk to people who know a bit about it, though there doesn't seem to be much in the way of Australian online communities, from what I can see, and judging by the order of your forum list even this one looks to have sailing trailing way behind all kinds of surfing and other ways of getting around on the water. I'd be grateful if someone could direct me towards a good sailing message board / website, or the right part of this one if you think it's appropriate for a novice. I'm starting from almost nothing but it's not just a whim -- there's a passion. Thanks in anticipation.
