Ghost Busters, hardly a sexists movie has been recast with an all female cast.
Oceans 11, has been recast for females. (www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/helena-bonham-carter-elizabeth-banks-mindy-kaling-sandra-bullocks-all-female-oceans-eleven-a7074011.html)
The Expendibles, recast... (time.com/3086763/expendabelles-cast-expendables-spinoff/)

Seriously WTF!!?? Why not just make an original farking movie?

Maybe men should recast Black Swan, or Sex and the City... ha ha just try it.

Men, your days are numbered; you're already a second class citizen.

I recon it's just a fad that will die out pretty quickly. When they look at ratings or movie sales they will stop making this sort of cr@p.

Clem Ford takes things a little too far in my opinion.

But as for the female casts, I think it's pretty cool. Clutching at straws if we think it's a issue.

Girls need good role models, the more successful women the better.

I wonder if they would let a bloke replace a chick in a lesbian movie. I have ideas....

Copycat feminist remakes, is hardly equivalence to a role model.
Better for whom? Women get more depressed and men get more effeminate.

It's not like the world is lacking successful women, but presently there's a policy of positive discrimination in anglo countries which allows them to get away with things men could never dream off.

Hmmm.

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

Younger disrespectful generation of their older fellows, and feminist movement undermining long held values.

So many basic principles being eroded at once...

What next? Wife: If your husband disagrees with you, smash his head in, or sue him....

Husband: If your wife has an affair with another guy, just suck it up.

Women are the best at what they do.

Blokes try their hardest to do the same.

Leave it there.

Wouldn't read too much into it. There's a profitable niche that has been identified, that's all. Why not make a buck on a quantifiable trend.

in the end women and men will carry on as someone said doing the best at what they can.

As a side note, I work at a high school and see every day a majority female psyche unleashed. It's a scary thing lol.

They really make make it a lot harder than it should be....but they care. We dont, simple.

But without that balance the world would be even more fcked up than it is.

'This too shall pass'.

Must be an American thing. I have no idea who the two on the outside are, cant stand that fat smart mouth, and the other one is more twitchy and annoying than Woody Allen. I'm sure it'll be a hoot.

Well my 10 yr old daughter saw it two days a go and loved it.... So there you go. It's got nothing whatsoever to do with us men or how we see the strange world unfolding. it's all about the $$$$$ and capturing a market.

I can see the girls lining up to be cast in the remake of......

I wonder if this will be filmed out Broken Hill way with Rebel Wilson or Magda in the lead role . . . .
