Tried to resurrect this thread - www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/General-Discussion/Chat/Boat-to-Rottnest/ - but it's too old.
Basically I've got about 10 days to share with the girlfriend on the boat, and I'm trying to put together an itinerary. We sail a 20ft trailer sailer and I've done to Rotto before, she hasn't. Are there any other good spots to chill out at?
I love Carnac but obviously you can't stay there overnight. Is it possible to stay O/N at the top of Garden Is.?
Other ideas also welcome,

Yep you an stay on your boat at Garden Is. In herring bay right on the NW tip.
it's a nice protected anchorage and perfect for a small yacht.
but like taz said, no camping on the island.
