It was a nice idealistic idea, but reality bites.
It could have been worse, they could have opened up a video ezy or a record store or even started a windsurfing school/ shop ![]()

for more than three dollars you'd want a bit of meat with it
Road kill?
Kangaroo and possums may go nicely with $3 veggie dish.
or delicious turtle soup
Well too be fair bro they do have two restaurants in Melbourne that have done amazingly well and the whole idea is to give disadvantaged people access to a nice meal...the one in St Kilda is amazing and has many top chefs volunteering as well as all the floor staff....I don't think the idea is to make loads of money either
I hear you, but it would have been nice if they had included that info in their article, leaving me any anyone else not living there, not knowing.
Road kill pics, geeesh!
maybe they should serve meat in their dishes and people would be more thankfull
Nah, its meant for the vegan hippy types, and meat is sinful. Its funny though that you would get some people that will pay more than the meal would cost, and others who would take them at their word and pay as little as they can, even when they have plenty of money.
