As a "Long Suffering" Footscray barracker all I can say is "Who Let the Dogs Out?"

They did well winning every position . . . . . . Now let's see if they can keep going!

Can't believe how much the dogs stepped up their game for the finals. Incredible. Awesome game tonight that could have gone either way. That's how finals should be. Cats were a disgrace. Go dogs.

They've taken down the VFL grand final. Would be good to see them do the double with the AFL

I think the bulldogs on the weekend were the epitome of what happens when you play with heart instead of worrying about your pay check. Not insinuating that the swans were worried about their pay check, but if you look at the players for the bulldogs, individually they weren't the best side in the league, but as a collective playing with heart, they showed what they could accomplish. Every game they were written off as underdogs despite the fact that 15 wins would have been enough to cement a top 4 spot in most years. Also good to see Boyd step up for his best performance in the grand final, he was unlucky not to get the Norm Smith. I think he's taken a lot of pressure from the press and the public, for simply taking an offer that was thrown his way when any other player would have done the same. I heard a comment on the weekend that was priceless...Tom Boyd became a man today, he should change his name to Tom Mand after that performance.

And then Luke Beverage....what a legend. I think he single handledly cemented his name as one of the greats with his selfless handing over of his medal to Bob Murphy.

You are Julia Gillard... Unless the doggies have more than one fan

Took the hard road for a splendid win... Maybe we'll see the tiges in there next year??

BTW, I saw part of the game... first and only game for the year... Pugwash thinks AFL is mostly for boofheads and associates it with sexism and people like Sam Newman, Trevor Marmalade and Eddie McGuire...

Pugwash does like a few teams... Saints, Hawks (Tassie connection), Tiges, Swans, Cows, Dorkers... etc... Flip side, magpies

Pugwash does like Moana Hope... What an awesome woman!!
