Work

Our ancestors once hunted & gathered to survive the day. We learned to plant seeds and domesticate stock, as a result we grouped in increasing numbers creating the beginnings of the societies we see today. To earn our keep, we had to be of value to our new clans and would undertake all manner of tasks to benefit the wider community. These tasks would become known as work and to work is to survive the world we have created.

Now that we are officially in recession, the opportunity to work in any capacity will become increasingly tenuous. Doing it tough and simply surviving in this sun burnt country will fast become be a reality for many, so keep an eye out and lend an ear for friends & neighbors so our communities can survive.

"Two men say they're Jesus one of them must be wrong
There's a protest singer singing a protest song "

So how come the only protest singer to win a nobel prize hasn't yet featured on Friday?

If you can't make out the prize-winning words

Speaking of big BOB, has just released a new album 'Rough and Rowdy Ways'. A good listen for those into noise wrapped up in meaningful words.

Well speaking of legendary musicians, Kurt Cobain's acoustic guitar has sold to an Aussie microphone manufacturer for a guitar purchase record of US$6M.

Spot the difference
Here's the guitar from the auction house catalogue.

Here's Kurt

It's sold as original, as was.

"The D-18E was the seventh of only 302 models build by Martin, and was modded by Cobain, who fitted a Bartolini pickup to the soundhole. It came with the original hardshell case, to which Cobain added a flyer from Poison Idea's 1990 album Feel the Darkness. The case's storage compartment contained a half-used pack of Martin strings, three guitar picks and a suede "stash" bag decorated with a miniature silver spoon, fork and knife."

Was he sold a pup?
