I was glad to see the blokes out repairing a speed camera yesterday in Sydney because that's an essential service apparently

If it became known that speed limits were not enforced during a pandemic then all the idiots would be out on the road letting it rip. Then those doing essential deliveries would be risking life and limb. Supplies of the the AZ vaccine would not all get through.

When WA first went into lockdown they locked Perth and used the police to man these crossings, resulting in no mobile highway patrols. Additionally, because they didn't fully know how it was spreading no RBT's were to be done. Those couple of months were my best drives on the Indian ocean hwy, no caravans, sitting on 130, six pack of rum on the passenger's seat, marvellous!. I was so sad when they dropped the metro border.

I got a school zone speeding ticket on a "student free day" and after the NSW Government deemed schools as closed. Go figure. If the camera was for the safety of children at the school then I challenge them to prove to me that they actually had students on that day. Otherwise it's a money grab.

Take it to court. Don't forget to claim a thousand dollars in damages

There's always those students who don't get the message and turn up. Many schools have exemptions for the children of essential workers.
