As the government continues to further impinge on our personal freedoms for sake of ensuring the greater good they will soon be asking you to turn in your mates or strangers that are doing the "wrong thing".
Heck, we have already got some the gulags set up and operating.
Would you dob cause the government told you to?
What happened to people just minding their own business? Is it FB or a exaggerated sense of entitlement?

Really? What gulags?

Aren't the people with the exaggerated sense of entitlement the ones who say "I am the guy who is entitled to know what everyone should do, and I am the special one who can do what I want whenever I want"?

Yeah, agreed. People 'taking their freedom' and 'using their rights' are happily risking everyone else in this case. Its a funny one in that individually people will think 'it wont be me that spreads anything', but what if it is? Statistically it is someone..

Its pretty simple, stay home, the virus is transmitted by people moving around and coming in contact with others
Short term pain for long term good.
I live in a tourist town, very busy this weekend.. WHY
If I found out that someone who was Just over seas, came here to chill.. then goes to the supermarket for food and pub for beer.
That's plain stupid
I will dob them in.

Yep, if you look at individual odds they are quite low, but if everybody ignores them, the odds are exceedingly high for an exponential growth of cases to happen.

I got all authoritarian yesterday. I was walking the dogs and saw 8 hipster/ trust fund kids having a picnic in the park. I said "where's the social distancing people"............they looked at me like I was some old mental case............(possible) . One guy got a bit angry. Haha!

My biggest challenge is convincing my parents who are in their late 70s that this is serious, my partners parents are in their late 80s and they think it is all very inconvenient too. We've been very blunt with them about the realities of getting this virus at their age but they don't believe it, or simply won't accept it. Funerals ain't fun

I hear you! My Mother is 82yo in a couple of weeks and is still going out when she could simply make a phone call... I think she is starting to understand how serious it is now though.

Given the non-compliance I'm seeing from a great many idiots - bring on the dobbing.

Absolutely. The big crowd at Bondi last week, the police should have been sent in, taken everyone's details and placed all bar kids on a "do not treat" list. What happened to acting for the good of everyone rather than one's puerile impulse?

Not as bad as the 30 so called medical professionals who flew in from South America then fcked off back to their own states on a plane and ignored the 14 day isolation in a hotel. If these dipsh1ts don't follow protocol then how will the drongo bogan do the right thing.they have tracked down 6 so far. Take their license off then I say. Mother ******s

I saw the pictures on the news this evening of a few people, well separated, at a beach in Victoria, followed by a tirade about how irresponsible they were.
The forecast for tomorrow is for a nice warm windy afternoon on Jervis Bay. Guess what? I'm going out for a sail. I doubt that anyone will come within 10m of me for more than a few seconds while I rig and get on the water.
How many of you think I should be dobbed in for not staying at home?

'The land of the free...' is exactly the attitude that going to kills Americans in bulk fairly soon.
cant believe the muppets quarantined in hotels in Sydney are claiming prisoners get treated better. Selfish ****s if you ask me.

Not even close - no forced labour, no starvation rations, no beatings or torture, no executions, no political prisoners......and yes, I have been to two out of the three sites above, have you?
