Bought some digital scales from K- Mart recently for 25 dollars or so and I'm really having a lot of fun with them - guessing my exact weight the three times or so I weigh myself each day

Funny thing is when I feel I've been eating too much my weight increases - so for the next 24 hours no chocolate or such like allowed!

I peaked at 73 kg and my lowest was 70.5kg.

So much harder to keep the weight off as you get older!

You will find that they difference in weight you are seeing is not related to the amount of food you have consumed.

It is purely based on how close to the edge of the disc you are standing and how close to the turtles flippers you happen to be at that moment in time. You see, gravity is a constant, but those giant flippers do impact it.

Next time, try standing further out on the disc, say Antarctica, and you will see that the weight you read will be spot on every single time. Don't believe me? Try it.

If you have trouble seeing Antarctica, just head to Albany, and look due south.

Here's a fun game...weigh yourself before you sit on the throne, and guess what your weight will be afterwards. Even better, make it a competition for the whole family....hours of entertainment!!!
