The guy advertised diet Pepsi, drank it heavily, got Parkinson's, started a research charity to end Parkinson's.
The guy is surely well aware that the two artificial sweeteners used in diet Pepsi (sucralose and aspartame) hijack good gut bacteria to attack caco2 cells to permeate the gut wall and accumulate in vital organs; the kind of pathogenesis that leads to Parkinson's.

Well, where's the apology?

Sorry mate. Sometimes in life an apology never arrives. Although I do feel sorry for anyone with such an illness especially when at the time it wasn't known what caused it.

Why aren't you going after Andre Agassi?

Or do you like your chances at winning a fight against a terminally ill person better than a dude in a mullet wig?

I know Michael J Fox was into time travel, but how could he know in 1987 about an article published in 2021?

Where's the evidence that he had the faintest idea that diet Pepsi "caused Parkinson's"?

Where is the evidence that the pathogenesis you are talking about leads to Parkinson's? If the link is so clear, why is it unknown to the Mayo Clinic, Parkinson's Australia, or the Lancet amongst others?

Did he really drink a lot of this stuff? I assumed it was like a lot of people that promote stuff, and they are only addicte to the pay cheque?

If he apologises for this, does everyone else need to start apologising for everything?

I liked Doc Hollywood. Its not like its an Adam Sandler movie. I think his movies come with an apology in the credits.

Doc Hollywood, Happy Gillmore and basically any movie starring Tom Hanks rank as the finest movies ever made.

It would have to be in the opening credits because nobody ever gets as far as watching the end credits.

Then again is there any 'credit' in an Adam Sandler movie ? WTF would anyone take credit for in that tripe ?

There are some good theories: The Parkinson cluster:

I saw this doco early 2003 I think on SBS one night. Before this night, I was anti-vax and thought the more my immune system was smashed with flu/cold, the more hardened it would become. This documentary changed my mind.

Apologies in advance if I have turned this thread into another covid thread

Do you want now Stephen Hawking to apologize to us for something too?
Writing and thinking about Black Holes is so dangerous that you may end up on wheel chair?

that example demonstrate the logic behind...

but now we need to thanks Neutron Stars for our precious...

www.space.com/neutron-star-collisions-gave-earth-precious-metals

alternatively we ask Star to apologize to us for making us greedy...

Maybe you should forgive Michael J Fox, rather than him apologize?

Oh wait, it's 2021 people don't forgive anymore. #metoo

switching brands could help

one of my rifle club mates had parkinsons pretty bad, but about 30 minutes before his detail was due to shoot he knocked back a can of coke [super - not that unleaded muck]
25 minutes later the shakes disappeared and he was behind the threeoh sending rounds down range and putting the young bucks to shame with his scores
