American politics is now going to be really boring.
The new president is like 80 years old............ I bet he will be pumping money into trying to make windsurfing popular again.![]()
That will see crew storm the Capital, and massive riots world wide.
Hopefully though, he has learnt from the mistakes in the past and embraces the future.
Perhaps now, the media will ratchet down the ideological rhetoric and falsehoods they're broadcasting...
So how was the reflection pool looking, CNN?

I am so glad the FBI successfully stormed the White House to remove Trump like the media spent months asserting would be the only way he would leave.

Yes Trump is quite the failure as CNN's dictator of the year, isn't he. On to the next bogey man! Who will it be...? I hear Ted Cruz is "actually Hitler" now and wants to murder AOC...
Meanwhile, Antifa is smashing train stations and the DNC headquarters in Portland (still) so we'll see how much longer political violence and domestic terrorism will be tolerated now Uncle Joe has the pen of power...
There were two articles in the SMH the other day that sat next to each other online. I should have screen shotted it for posterity.
First was condemning Melania Trump for not saying anything on social media about the Capitol riots and for her staying "silent".
Next was about how Biden will be awesome because he won't just keep tweeting pointless nonsense all the time and will be much more silent on social media than Trump is.
I guess the editors have to fill the pages with something to get the advertisers in. Something. Anything.
Still, I will be following the supreme court case over Trump's pardon of himself and his family that he issued in the final days of office. Or so the media spent 6 months telling the world he definitely will do, because well, that's the sort of things he does.
God bless America.
Give me break, its a start.

The degree to which the mainstream media turned the past four years into a popularity contest with the misinformation, misconstruing of facts, and out-and-out lies as ammunition has been nothing short of astounding to me, but what really blows my mind is how much even sensible-seeming people just swallow it without questioning even the basic premise.
