Nice. I just picked up a dirt cheap 81 honda on the weekend. It will be my first ever project bike - thinking off-road bobber/brat style (no lights/rego and not worth the expense). Might work up to a quality cafe racer in time.
yours is nice......but Vic's is more betterer
be carefull around Bridgetown, it might jump out and bite you

Brought up with bikes
My brother used to race the uk road and track circuits in production , side car, and factory team, at cadwell , aintree , 3 sisters , souther 100 and tt
The jap bikes
X7
Rd yammys
Lc yammys
Triple kwakas
Dad had bsa,Francis Barnett , Norton ,Vincent's,
For me I always loved the look of the cafe racer,
And always wanted one
And this year I'm having one![]()
Identical to the photos
Looking to do the build myself
I don't ride - but Hilly that is sexy as fk
I'm more of the classic as a cafe racer,
Love the tone of a Ducati , nothing like it on the planet, foggy racing the Ducati in the super bikes used to make it sing, still a nice bike though
I can really appreciate the resto but the lounge suite from the back of your iLoad looks a lot more comfy Ken
Royal Enfield bullet , cafe racer
That is one mean looking bitch. I did the same thing to a Yammy XS1 many years ago.

Went on a 2 day rally at Bunbury so the rear seat comes out, the bike goes in and I get a comfy bed to sleep in after dicing with the traffic and bumps on a 74 year old bike that has left throttle, right hand suicide shift and a foot operated clutch!!
Easy enough when you get used to it - but a bit of a handful in traffic...![]()

my YAMAHA ZUMA so much power with its almighty 2 stroke 50cc engine ! Best scooter for doing wheelies on and going to the beach! CHICKS DIG IT TOO

The desmo behind the norton ,nice
We had maybe 4 norton commandos of variouse conditions, if only wed kept them,
$20 to $30,000 now for decent original one

Have you ever not been able to find it?
These cafe racers are fully sick. I really want one. Alas, I'm the type of driver that makes a small mistake every year or two that means nothing in a car; clips a curb while turning or whatever.
and here i thought all you old farts did KITESURFING for your midlife crisis. how many midlife crisis's can you have anyways?!?!
Royal Enfield bullet , cafe racer
Can't get her out of my head either.....She is gorgeous...
Never seen a Royal Enfield with a rear mono shock before, is it an Enfield motor in another frame or custom cut frame of an old hard tail
Then I found this
www.royalenfield.com/in/en/motorcycles/himalayan/
Thought it might be a Himalayan but the geometry is very different

Mid life crisis isn't an event. It's a condition. It only goes away when you're old enough to call it old age crisis.

Of course, if you could afford the vincent hrd black shadow, you could probably buy 3 nortons ![]()

Nice old bike
Even in my 20s I've had a soft spot for the old bikes
I did a job once for a bloke in tarleton Lancashire
On the 1st day whilst getting power from the garage I could see a bike under a flannel sheet
With a fishtail pipe popping out
Pulling the sheet off it was a big matchless bike
So thought I'd try the bloke out for a job / bike trade, absolutely hassled the crap out of him for weeks, he always said no
Then one morning he was giving a polish , so I hit him up again,
He said mick , this bike has so many great memories I'll never sell it,
I used to pick the girls up and ride up to Blackpool, their hair would be wafting in my face, the smell of their perfume, they'd be holding me tight, I could feel their boobs on my back and their legs wrapped around me, I'd even get a glimpse of their thighs and stockings, and when I gave it some they'd get closer and tighter,
And when you see how ugly my missus is,
You'll understand why I need those memories,
He wasn't wrong
and here i thought all you old farts did KITESURFING for your midlife crisis. how many midlife crisis's can you have anyways?!?!
Wife said it ain't fair as she reckons I've had 3 midlife crisis,s
This is one I had 12 years ago living in the south of France, never hardly had a pot to piss in, but we would drive it down from bargemon in the mountains to the coast for a bite,
Used to turn heads wherever we went
Alfa spider, not a cafe racer but still a lovely bit of styling, and sounded great especially through the mountain roads at the gorges du verdon
Happy being an old fart,
With midlife crisis,s![]()
For those interested the Vintage motorcycle show and car boot sale is on this Sunday at Cannington Greyhound .
Times are approx 9-12 , a few bucks to have a look .
Last years was a great spectacle and a few bargains in the paddock if your chasing bits and pieces.
