Hi there,
"Warning" this is a strange request:
In a nut shell I used to leave in Perth, work at UWA and kite pretty much every summer day at pelican Point back in the days (talking early 2000's) - that's how I knew about seabreeze.com.au
A colleague from the University of Adela?de (Vicki Thomson) and I (research scientist) will be undertaking some Tiger snake work in WA late April this year (don't worry we know what we're doing) and need to spend some time on Carnac island where snakes thrive to collect DNA samples (we have permits to do so).
Basically we have limited funds and boating experience, hence are looking for someone with a boat that had planned to go fishing (or is just happy to help) around that period (we're flexible on dates) so we could tag along; get dropped off on Carnac for a few hours while fishing or whatever else is happening and then picked up again. Of course we are happy to pay for the service.
If you think that's potentially you, or if you know someone that could be interested please let us know.
We are very grateful of any help or advice we will get.
Many thanks,
Fabien
