At first I thought the new seabreeze was better. But after using it for many months now I think otherwise.
The editor is broken. I don't know how many times I've tried to do some simple formatting and "it knows better" and completely breaks the post. I've even seen it sometimes remove spaces between all words.
I reckon about 20% of my posts have to be "wrestled with" to get them right. Sometimes I just give up.
The old forum engine/thingy was better.

I don't like the minimised quote, you can't see what the poster is responding to (in more complicated things with a number of points)
I know it makes it shorter but just trust people to learn some netiquette and snip the crap out, don't quote a post with pics without removing them, etc.

Ummmmm, It might be hard for old eyes to see but there is a "select to expand" tab you can click on, its not that hard to use ??
Laurie, you might want to make the "select to expand" writing BIGGER for the windsufering forums

It would make more sense if the snipped quote was maintained but ran in reverse chronological order so the last quoted post appeared first and at least three or four lines were visible.

I never said I didn't know how to see them.
My point being it makes it harder immediately see what is being replied to, or even to scroll a thread for interesting parts, it used to be faster and more efficient.
I thought you'd love to be able to scroll thru faster for anything Mark said 
A welcome addition was how you can't edit your OWN posts after a couple of hours, some of the small minded wankers used to really use that to their advantage as they sat at home getting drunk and playing with themselves over how well they could turn a watersports forum into a troll fest.

Its silly. The fact you can click to expand is irrelevant, its a PITA if you want to read a few pages of posts in a complex argument.

But its pretty obvious, well to most, that there are 2 quotes there and you need to spend half a second (WHAT A PITA lol) to click on expand.
Keep it as it is, if you are soooo time restrained that you don't have time to click expand???, Like, doesn't it take more time to open page 3 of the topic, after only 4 people have posted on page 2, but they have all quoted quotes on quotes on quotes ?? So the point of it " use to be faster and more efficient" is nonsense.
I think many people now use PITA, when the really mean, I'm too lazy to move my finger and click a button .
