What a great country to live in, when a TV interview can support an individual with family needs under such circumstances, to such an extent! (Thumbs up)

Good on the Aussie culture, in supporting the needy. Something lacking around the world.

Big thumbs up to the donators to make this mum's life a bit more liveable.

I doubt that any thumbs were given for the topic but more the lack of info on the op's message and assumption that we all must have watched the interview.

Tough crowd with the red thumbs.
This was a very touching story.
The youngest son was born with Downs, then developed a heart condition then cancer. I think he is 2 years into remission.
. Mum is 38 weeks pregnant.
The family moved from the bug smoke to a country area outside Canberra. Not long after her Husband died suddenly. We Aussies have a good heart.

My apologies for not posting a link to a TV show, continuing in real time.

I could have given more details in my OP, but my intention was that whoever was interested, could look it up, most likely the next day.

Well it's online now, so here's a link.

As mentioned, it was a moving story, one which I had watched on Monday night, and I expected to see an overwhelming response.

Apologies again, I do see the point.

Not sure how charitable we are.
A local familys house was bulldozed by an arsehole. They lost everything.
They have attracted only $1,460.
There were certainly material contributions, but only from a few who are close to the family.
