The organisers should be chain whipped and spat on for allowing spectators to sit at the end of a turn on the road, where inertia rules above everything else!

Nah it's all good. Precautions were taken. The driver was in a protective roll cage.

I can't believe they still have spectators on the outside of corners in euro events. Rally Oz changed the spectator area rules in about 1993 or 1994
duh numpties

Hopefully they look at that and set some sort of safety standard!

The wrc has changed massively as spectator safety goes, we used to be able to touch the cars going past at 100mph down country lanes, but that was part of the buzz, daft yes, exciting definatly, check out some old footage in the 80s mental as

I'd love to know how the Isle of Man TT gets away with their race. What is it up to now? 250 competitors and spectators killed in the last 100 or so years.

In saying that it would be insane to go and watch it for real.

My eldest brother used to do the tt and the southern 100 when Joey Dunlop was in his prime, ferking brave blokes doing well over 320klm on crappy roads with stone walls trees and lamp posts for good measure ,pretty sickening though seeing some of the crashes but these spots were the main spectator areas, mad Sunday is when most people die, basically joe public is let loose on the circuit after watching their idols all week,
