Looking for a boatyard to haulout on the hard for circa 2 weeks.
7 tonne monohull with 1.7m long keel. 34ft LOA.
Want to live aboard and do the work myself.
Do not want a slipway because of the difficulty of working under the boat and the q behind.

Is there anywhere practical south of Wollongong please?

Only practical place around Sydney seems to be Newcastle.
Hawkesbury is too difficult because of the mast.
Lake Macquarie Marmong Cove is difficult because of the residential area around it.

Well not always your friend actually. There's a hidden haul out up river from Greenwell point that might suit your needs. Run by local council I think and isn't on any google search I made. I've seen a few decent size yachts on it but I'm unsure if you can stay overnight. Only space for 1 boat at a time.

Failing that, Woolwich Dock is brilliant but in Sydney. They will let you swing in the crane for a weekend, and let you live aboard and do own work. Ask the if they remember Corey the keel cutter
