So, Im a little drunk atm so bear with me!
I have 6 boards to fix, 2 epoxys and 4 fiberglass. 5 surfboards and 1 SUP.
They are all fins, 4 FCS 1, and 2 Futures.
I have pulled the old plugs outs (where still fitted) and now have a few massive holes.
I will (at this stage) fill with resin and q cel, fit new plug and glass. I WILL NOT fill holes and drill new holes for fin template as do not have 'jig'. Is this a mistake?????
I do not care what they look like, as long as they hold (glass fins are expensive).
Any tips?
AT this stage I will buy fiberglass and epoxy kits (is it better to just use epoxy??)
Any other tips before I do a hack job??
Any kits recommeded (as I probably need a large(ish) amount, and location in WA).
Is it too much q cell in the bigger holes (SUP is about 10cm * 5 cm * depth of board)
Cheers in advance!
Same holes, epoxy and q-cell.
This time of year if your workshop is warm I'd think about a superslow hardener for the ones going into anything with a styro core just to be safe
How's the headache?

I think you'll find when you recover from your present condition you wont feel like doing any of it.
But anyway, the thought was there and it's the thought that counts.
So far success! I cut up fibreglass and qcell for base on 2 boards. This is hard to work with as very thick. Others i used no glass and only qcell. Much neater. Epoxy boards will be next but still draining water.
Headache from alcohol or resin. Not too sure atm.
