Is there a better way than using superglue?

I rang the manafacture and bought some new shelves which weren't that expensive, when you consider the price of the glue etc. It was a bit of mucking around trying to find the service centre, but it was nice to have new shelves.

Agreed. Superglue lasted about as long as it took for one of the kids to pull a carton of milk out instead of up.
bought replacement shelves online from something like 'appliance warehouse' as they were discontinued by the manufacturer.
then the fridge died... Or at least I told the wife it did so that it could be repurposed as a beer fridge.
