Yesterday I bought kit from SHQ.

Had a great lesson from Andrew Bain.

Anyone at Rye offering lessons for a beginner?

Wait for summer.
Leaning is done on thermal winds, not frontal winds.

That statement is true, but first you have to learn and understand what the difference between them is and why.

What are your board skills like. IF your kit includes a twin tip then maybe go down to the cable park and hone your riding skills on one of their wake board (no fins) Practice left foot forward, right foot forward and side sliding to improve your balance. Then when your hanging onto a kite, you don't have to think about your board, as your feet will already know what to do. I see the park down from Sandringham has reopened.
