- Prompted me to install the bidet attachment that I've been thinking of for a while. That's a permanent reduction in national toilet paper demand.
- Cancelled quarterly trip to USA head office. Work otherwise normal since I work remotely anyway, same as most of the company.
- My kids uni courses are now being done online, so it feels a bit like the summer holidays with everyone hanging around the house. That's nice.

Do you have to keep a special set of single use towels beside the bidet?
I'll stick with recycled paper for now

Spoke to a mate that manages a bottle shop in town,
his sales of corona beer has gone down 30% on last week.

I know it doesn't sound nice, but when you consider that mothers washed nappies for a very long time, its not something you couldn't live with.

That said, I wasn't keen on some of these places I visited in the past where you had to place the toilet paper in the bin next to the toilet ... but I could live with it.

And here we are with perfect southern hemisphere Oktoberfest weather tomorrow in NSW but we're advised to skip the Marrickville craft brew tour.
I think it will be OK as long as we all keep out of glassing range

I like to play the field. Regulars lately have been Colonial and Balter.

If you are chasing a decent local brew from a once micro and now massive brewery, and Geelong isn't too, well, Geelong, give Furphy a crack... it's at least as good as VB

Anyways... I thought you liked red wine... from the silver bag

Furphys good, but the rest of the micro brewery stuff is cat sick. usually too floral, too sour, bloody expensive and usually served by some hipster with no socks.

What an awesome post... it's as rich, fruity and sour as a micro brewery beer...

So, you prefer the mass same same over the unique and individual. Not a surprise

But, you support the big corporate over the little small business battler who's giving it a crack. I guess that's just an outcome of standardising for the masses

For your sockless hipster, I think you should be kinder to young labor/green voters... the alternative is refusing to accept votes from them in your political party... and encouraging them to be liberal and that will be confusing for everyone!!!

BTW, you may knock with your feet. PW's favourite beer is Dainton Blood Orange... if you don't know it, do yourself a favour and get down there and get into it.

Oh, and don't forget the man bun...

I'm not much of a drinker nowadays but I don't mind a couple on a hot day or with a meal. My tipple of choice at present is . . . . . .

Or a decent cider, this locally produced drop lacks the sickly sweetness of some ciders and I would describe it as more of an "Apple Beer" than a cider.

I believe the correct term is fruity la la beer. somebody recently bought me a can of single fin at a cold chisel concert. i had one mouthful and gave it back. undrinkable. that was the first time in my life i have knocked back a beer

I also like Balter IPA and XPA . It's pricey but nice .
However I recently bought a expensive Balter slab and there was a serious problem . A third of the slab tasted bad and a couple cans , really bad. In date . Told Balter of this and still no reply . It's been a week .
Stay tuned.

Yeah, I bought some craft beer on recommendation from the 'dude' down the bottle-o. One swig and straight down the drain with it. I've had better tasting homebrew that was crap.

Beer. A mysteriously fickle concoction.

Try Ballistic Oaked IPA last slab I bought was $136 Too expensive for a regular drug.. but it is an achievement brew.. So end of a hike somewhere in scenic rim it nails it...
Plan to do one of their ticket tours.. food and sampling plus sticky beak thru their premises...
nothing like a truly fresh brew

I remember the first time I tried one of those. I seriously thought the glass must have had remains of lavender-scented dishwashing detergent in it. I had no idea that was how it was supposed to taste. Ugghhh!! At least it slowed me down a little.
