Police have confirmed three baboons escaped a research facility at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney's inner west - but have now been captured. Details emerged early on Tuesday evening that an alarm had gone up over at least one escaped baboon at the hospital in Camperdown.It sparked an emergency response after the baboons were spotted at a car park attached to the hospital.It is believed that baboons are held at the hospital in a facility that undertakes research on diabetes, kidney disorders and vascular diseases.NSW Police said: "Just before 5.30pm, officers from Inner West Police Area Command were called to a car park on Missenden Road and Lucas Street, Camperdown, after reports three baboons escaped while being transported.

No I don't think they were politicians, Angus Taylor is out and about free as a bird. I think the whole thing is a metaphor for press freedoms. And thank goodness they're all back under restraint now.
