I've thought the Australian cricket team was arrogant for a while now. After yesterday I recon they are the worst example of team sportsmanship I've seen.
Warner and Johnson are two great examples of how NOT to act as a sportsman. Both incredibly arrogant twats.
Granted...Australia in general has never really been known for sportsmanship. Sporting achievements, yes; sportsmanship, no.
ACB are the pits
so lead by example
Who in his right mind lets the WACA groundsman set a pitch that is a batsman's paradise, no wonder the pace bowlers are testy
This track is normally hard and set for pace.
That pitch prepared was like something from the sub continent. Over 1200 runs from the first innings! The cricketing public are being had here. No wonder the patronage is as low as it is.
The wallas in the box even had the cheek to challenge the manufacture standard of the actual cricket balls.
ACB you clowns lost the publics support with that crap served up! Wouldn't ever go to another "fixed" match again
Half your problem is gone. Mitchel Johnson has retired from all forms of the game after today.
Good. He's up there with our current crop of young male tennis players.
Lol at this thread being in heavy weather
Least heavy heavy weather topic ever!
Let me fix that for you...
I can't quite believe the " worst sportsman" in the world crap, you all fall for media crapolla. Dirk Nannes...who.....calls our team horrendous but doesn't see what happens off the field, even the so called "offended against" can't complain about their behaviour......I reckon you all barracked hard for Mitch when he was bouncing the **** out of the POMS and Saffers, thought Lillie Thommo and Merv were legends, Border Chappell and Steve Waugh made out of granite
FFS its TEST cricket so called because it's a test not tiddly winks or amateur cricket play it hard on the field and (having a little insight) play it fair off the field.....the Aussie team play the man on the field but give credit when it's due after the playing hours
its fine when Anderson Broad Steyn Kholi khan......do the same its called showing ticker but when our guys do it it's horrendous sportsmanship. I hope you don't buy tickets to the games or watch it on TV if you are so offended
rant done...........until some replies and I'm Im pissed off again

+1. we have to play the poms on their pitches setup for the duke ball and the way they play..and fair enough thats the home ground advantage.
so what does the ACB and WACA do, clowns

Was referring to the current batch of twats not the previous generations.

100% agree.
Most new-aged aussie sportsman are arrogant twats, but thats because of the way they are treated these days, fame and fortune and they think their **** dont stink.
But who cares, lets win at whatever cost, lets doctor the pitches to our strengths, it happens to us when we go abroad to play.
The first 2 tests, they may as well have been playing on concrete pitches with tennis balls.
With all due respect to Phil Hughes, but I wanna see bowlers trying to hurt batsmen again with bouncers and a bit of bodyline stuff.
That was a freak accident, but it seams to me that Aussies bowlers have changed there super aggressive short pitched body attack bowling that did over the Poms and the Sth Africans before the Hughes incident.

i think the hughes accident had more of an impact on the aussies boys than anyone could imagine.
but you're right.get the pitches bouncing and dig em in short.
