I am a bit underwhelmed. I signed up to a trial for AppleTV+, but can't figure out where the content is!
Is there good stuff on here or have I been duped?
I watched 'Greyhound', which is a new Tom Hanks movie, but I am very underwhelmed by it. I was almost at the end and was expecting something interesting to happen, and then realised it was almost over. I think the PR people got to promoting that one as its nothing special as far as I can tell. I think they cut out the exciting bits and removed the drama and you are just left with???
Got it free when I got a new MacBook. Had a look but there's zero content of interest.
There's so much that is really good on Netflix, I'm hardly even annoyed that I can't region hop (easily) any more...
Servant - epic, watch it in the dark
For All Mankind is good
Mythic Quest is amusing.
Most of the shows are slow burn and take a little bit longer to get into but are pretty good when you do. Greyhound was a sony production and they flogged it off to Apple when they couldn't release at the cinemas.
We have been watching for All Mankind.
Its quite entertaining and has been well done.
I have a twelve month subscription having bought an Apple product. Nothing much else appeals as does nothing much on Netflix. YouTube is where it's at. However I might try out a documentary online video service.
One of my fav book series, Foundation is coming to Apple TV+. Of course it's modernised and looks PC but hopefully it's entertaining. I don't think it should be too difficult to do this show as the plots are quite simple in the books.
I've watched a few of the series. My favourites were "Home before dark" and "For all Mankind".
For free with a product it was great value!!
