It has begun. In Bali

This is still a new concept for me. I must (have) be(en) naive. I was unaware of such shinanegans when I was a student.
Disclaimer* I didn't have regular schooling.

Aaaaaaanyway, feel free to post up your funniest stories, and any new news.

I've got Twins just finished hsc formal tomorrow night neither has expressed any interest in schoolies .
They both studied hard the boy got 1st in software & design .
as results of his school before hsc test
School went all out gave him a $20 gift voucher .
The girl did tafe for her subjects makeup &music.
Topped makeup topped music but now waiting hsc results
&they are brilliant they studied &worked hard there whole school life never had any dramas like i would see on a current affairs Could have been year 9 year 11 was more
I'm so proud .
That said we will be on the gold coast for Christmas .
As family.
It seems to me that my kids & there friends that have worked hard &are hoping to get good results .
The whole time through school &getting them are not running off to be stupid with the possibility of ruining there future now they have foothold on were they want to be.
So there actually is a theorem the dunning krugger effect about stupid people thinking they have done well &smart people who worry they might not have done as well as they could.
So my point is basically the kids that get into trouble at schoolies are stupid .
Probably spent more time planning holiday than study.

Talking to a ffriend on the weekend he lasted two hours at schoolies before being locked up with his nose mooshed against his face and his teeth rattleing in his head.
The other guy was in another cell with his nose flattened.
When my mates dad arrived to get him at 4am the next morning after driving his taxi all night, my friend was telling the Southport police superintendent he was a towel head who should buggeroff.
His dad propmtly slapped him up again.
He was abit of a handful back then but he has a good woman and a little baby girl now that keep him busy.
