next week I celebrate 25 years of marriage . Its been an amazing time lots of good times ,3 gorgeous girls and some challenging times too . This has all now been compromised by rekindling an old relationship . I saw a guy out kiting yesterday absolutely smoking upwind in diminishing wind , I was thrown out by the angle he was achieving . I found out why , he's got a tomo . I thought Ive gotta find the ol light wind mojo that I used to have when good ol floaty at 100 kegs was out there when no one else was but I can't afford a TOMO right now . I dug out my old boards goin right back to a 1999 underground quad fin and then I spotted her sitting behind all the other crap in my shed , my old friend the "magic red board " a decay scimitar from early 2000's, long discarded . Put a fin on for the missing one and to ok her out for a spin . OMG light wind magic and fun in the rubbishy slop . I am in love all over again and my poor wife is not just a wind widow but any wind widow

The daughters are good kids, but their father is a grumpy old p***k

PS, float, what size is that big red kite / spinnaker you take out in light wind ?

First of all Craigus . Get ****ed. The spinaker in a 17 m argo but the MRB is the key . I discovered another 5 kts bottom end on my 12 m trx and would have been on it yeterday except I lost the air bung the day before .ussentially the MRB (magic red board is a wide flat door with small fins its like being on snow ,very slippery and goes in nothing ) Fianlly a big thanks for Col who resurrected it a few years back when I broke it . You are now not the only one kiting in no wind Col

I've only ever had two at once.
