This years Windsurfing Fortnight on Lord Howe Island is scheduled for August 4-18 2012.

This fortnight was started as a 'purely for the love of it' activity by Tim Northam five years ago.

Tim was living on Lord Howe Island and wanted to show the awesome lagoon off to other windsurfers. Always the spanner in the works was the hassle of getting your gear to the island...thus Lord Howe Windsports was born.

There is now a hire facility on the island stocking JP boards & NP rigs.

The fortnight is a great opportunity for people to meet other windsurfers and sample a World Heritage Listed site. Lord Howe is probably one of the most picturesque islands in the world.
The lagoon is fringed by reef and provides fantastic conditions for windsports. It can be sailed on all tides straight from the beach and you will not need to be worried by being run down by heaps of other sailors/kiters.

The current cost for the windsurfing fortnight will decrease from $2599 to $2259 & $1819 to $1479 for the non-windsurfer. This is until May 21st only.

This includes: Airfares return ex sydney, 14 nights accommodation, 14 days gear hire.
