With 2 events now completed, the 2008 Constructors Championship Rankings get underway.

Following the successful completion of the first two events on the PWA calendar, the 2008 Constructors Championship has now officially started.

The PWA Constructors Championship Rankings are based on results from PWA competition to date in Waves, Slalom and Freestyle.

The system, similar to that seen in Formula 1 car racing, awards points calculated purely on current discipline rankings, and scores as follows:

The two highest scores for each discipline, whether they are for men or women, are added together to provide their ranking score. Due to the difference in fleet sizes you will notice the women?s points are derived slightly differently from the men?s (see below).

5th 4 points
6th 3 points
7th 2 points
8th 1 points
