Vanina Walsh signs with Starboard as part of the Dream Team
Vanina Walsh joins Starboard
Vanina Walsh is a blonde bombshell from Hawaii, and she's one of the hottest young paddlers on the scene right now. Previously surfing for Roxy and local hawaiian shapers, the sponsorship will slingshot her from only paddling local events, to competing all over the world in the Stand Up World Tour. If her last performance is anything to go by, she's going to be very near the top in 2013!
The Starboard Dream Team is about as good as it gets in the stand up paddling world! With big name paddlers like Zane Schweitzer, Connor Baxter and Sean Poynter, she's bound to get some pro tips as well as get to hang out with some of the coolest guys in the sport. She's already been on one trip with the group, saying:
"My best trip was to Sayulita Mexico with Connor, Zane and Sean. It was the first trip with the starboard team riders and I had the time of my life! I plan on traveling and promoting the sports of SUP Surfing, Paddling and Racing. I am also looking forward getting to know my team members better. Oh, I really want to learn to windsurf on the new Wind SUP. Oh, and do clinics, Oh and.... I guess I could go on and on.."
