NSW State Stand up paddle titles results and report

Beau Nixon, the NSW State SUP champ
The battle is over, and Beau Nixon has been crowned the best Stand up paddle surfer in New South Wales this weekend.

In lumpy Stand up paddling conditions, competitors put on a fantastic show of surfing for the spectators, despite the small swell and lumpy faces on offer down at The Entrance, on the Central Coast of NSW.

The weekend long event saw some big names from all over the state paddling out, but in the end; Beau Nixon was always a favourite to win. Especially considering his win at the Surfing Australia state titles back in June.

Despite the fact that there seems to be two state titles (similar to the kiteboarding pro tour debacle), the win last weekend furthers confirms Beau's position at the top, now's he won both of them. But it will be interesting to see how the Stand up paddling competition circuit pans out over the summer season with both Surfing Australia, and Stand up paddling Australia holding events.
